We hit our "downloads per day" record some days ago ... over 1000 downloads on a single day on just one server! Now the bad news ... our download mirror exceeded its bandwidth limit. Please note that all other servers (hosting the 1.0.2 version of the game) except the BigBlackBlock server are still up and running.
We are sorry for the inconvenience. |

A new patch has been released. It is recommended to install this patch! The online system now checks for the version number of your game. You won't be able to update your player statistics until your game is up-to-date. But don't panik ... your points will be transmitted as soon as the patch has been installed.
Changes to Version 1.0.1
- Some of you experienced problems with the localization - this is now fixed and the game should start in the language you selected.
- Fixed a bug due to the corresponding language of the Windows System which causes trouble to the database system.
New in Version 1.0.2
- The game checks for new patches on startup now. You will be notified that a new update is available when the intro-screen shows up.

Due to some errors while uploading the gamepoints to our server, we decided to release the patch for {hi}rollerz a little earlier. You can download the file here.
Changes to Version 1.0.0
- The controls for non-gamepad users are now extended. You have multiple choices to move the ball and the camera while playing.
- Rotating the camera: 'A' and 'D' keys OR left and right mouse button.
- Moving the ball: Cursor keys.
- Jump: 'Space' OR 'Right-Shift' key.
- Changes to the gamepoint broadcasting from client-to-server. (Thanks to 'Das Idol' for clearing out the situation and giving an extremely exact bug-report!).
- The version number of the game is displayed on the top-left corner of the menu system.
To install the patch, just extract the content of the archive and overwrite the existing files.
We hope you will accept our appologize for the gamepoint-related mismatch. |

We are working on the first patch for {hi}rollerz. Some new features will be included which are focusing on the playability without the XInput device (Xbox360 Controller for Windows) and some minor bug-fixes.
For example, some of you remarked that it would be a good idea to rotate the camera by using the mouse.
We've scheduled the patch for the 1st of May 2009.
Thanks for all your support and ideas. |

Today we have released {hi}rollerz!
We hope that you will enjoy the game as much as we have loved developing it. This website will host all community activities like custom created maps, map votings, online scoreboards and game updates.
Each month we will feature the best maps which will be elected by 'Most Voted', 'Most Downloaded' and our personal favorites called 'Editors Picks'. We will also frequently release special map packs and extension tiles for the editor.
Now - after more than 37 hours "pre-release-marathon" - it's time to lay down our tired bones.
See you all above the clouds! |
